Embraced by Lappish mountains, Arctic Rivers and lakes – a five day tour for your family or small groups.

  • Day One - your tour starts in Rovaniemi - from the Arctic Circle. You then travel to visit Santa’s Post Office, where, if we are lucky and the big man is present, we meet him too! Then we travel to Levi, (approx. 2 hrs) for your first night’s accommodation.

  • Day Two – Canoeing, enjoy the scenery from your canoe on the small Lappish river near Levi. This calm and peaceful river is local favourite and there is a possibility to fish. After paddling, a change of pace and vessel, we shoot river rapids using a car tyre! Your day concludes with a relaxing Finnish sauna and an evening spent cooking together, sharing stories and playing games.
  • Day Three - On the third morning, we head to Harriniva for river-rafting. After your active start, the tour continues with a guide as you travel by car to Kilpisjärvi (approx. 2 hrs). There we have lunch. We then drive to the shores of the Arctic Ocean. Do you dare to dip in the Arctic Ocean? There is also the possibility to fish. We return to stay for a night in Kilpisjärvi, however, before sleeping we shall conquer the Saana Hill during a midnight hiking tour.
  • Day Four - After a good night’s sleep we are on the road again. We stop to visit Sannan Puoti’s shopping emporium; an opportunity to purchase Lappish style gifts etc. Continuing, Gallery Raekallio is worth a visit. Local artist Reijo Raekallio creates Lappish art in his unique style. His reindeer paintings seem to come alive on the surface of the canvas. At the end of the day we arrive at Levi and stay there overnight. There is ample time to take a walk around the village of Levi and enjoy the surrounding views.
  • Day five – your final day returns you, by road, to Rovaniemi where you visit the Arktikum exhibition and museum. A further opportunity to discover more of the history of Lapland and the Arctic. Finally, your tour concludes, time for the journey home, time to say farewell.
